How does Drain Lining Work?
The broad strokes of the drain lining process involve the insertion of a drain lining sleeve into your drain. Once in place, that lining is then expanded through the use of either high-pressure water or air, forcing the lining against the inner walls of the pipe. It is then left for some time (the exact amount of time will vary from job to job but as a rough guide, 24 hours) during which time it bonds to the pipe and cures. Once it has set, it will often be as strong—sometimes stronger—than the pipe it sits inside. The process will usually be carried out from one or two spots where access to the drain can be gained and requires very little disruption to your property. What are the Advantages of Drain Lining?
