Are you the owner or manager of a Salisbury commercial establishment, like a hotel, a hostel, a café, a restaurant or a pub? Then you will already know that it’s very important to routinely control and clear fat, oil and grease output. This is where our Salisbury FOG management services come in.
Every commercial kitchen in the UK now has to legally include a grease trap because if FOG substances – fat, oil or grease – are left unchecked and build up over time, they become hazardous to the environment and your drainage network.
No1 PHD is highly experienced in providing the most professional solutions for all aspects of commercial fat, oil and grease management in Salisbury and the surrounding areas. Whenever these substances get into your pipework, they don’t dissolve – instead they will clog up, resulting in blocked sinks and blocked drains.
Here at No1 PHD, we offer a number of drainage and plumbing services. While these are very effective and we’re happy to work at your commercial establishment, we always recommend that managers try to stay one step ahead of these issues, so repairs don’t even become necessary.
With a trained and professional Salisbury FOG management team like ours on standby, you won’t have to worry about having to replace your drains. The key warning indicators that you might have a drainage issue at your premises are strong unpleasant smells, strange gurgling noises and standing water that takes a long time to drain away from the sink or the toilets.
An excellent solution to ensure that this horrible build-up doesn’t happen is the installation of one of our effective grease traps. They’re heavy-duty pieces of equipment that come in a variety of different options, depending on your layout and requirements.
Absolutely blown away by the service we received. Took all the stress out of losing our heating and hot water. Highly recommended!

Couldn’t have asked for a faster resolution to our drainage conundrum. Nothing was too much for these guys who were brilliant throughout.

Our old-school manual grease traps come with a traditional design that dates back all the way to 1885 and is just as effective in our modern times as it was when they were first introduced to the British market. The units are made of stainless steel or tough plastic and physically resemble a simple box. They’re just small enough to snugly fit underneath the sink.
No1 PHD’s automatic grease removal units are similar in design to the manual option described above but they come with a programmable timer, which is useful for many clients with larger premises. This mechanism will skim the waste water regularly and collect fat, oil and grease into a separate container for easy removal.
Our gravity grease traps are the most appropriate choice for large commercial enterprises in Salisbury, including hotels and hostels, restaurants and cafés as well as hospitals that deal with massive amounts of FOG substances on a regular basis.
The gravity grease traps offered by No1 PHD have been manufactured from steel, concrete or reinforced fibreglass. They will be buried in the ground to collect high volumes of fat, oil and grease. Regular maintenance will be required on these new units due to constant use and we’d be happy to talk you through this process after the installation has been completed.
Are you now ready to order your grease trap in Salisbury? Do you need to talk to us about something else related to drainage, plumbing or heating? Whatever the case may be, we are here to help, so don’t hesitate to either call us on 01425 208031 or send a message through our contact form now!
After noticing that the house was unusually cold, we found that the heating wasn’t coming on and that our hot water had also failed. We called the team at No 1 PHD who dispatched an engineer to investigate. After discovering that the culprit was a faulty boiler part, they ordered in a new part and got it fitted as quickly as possible. The guys were great, and we couldn’t be happier.
For days, we’ve noticed a foul smell coming from outside and a gurgling sound coming from one of the drains. Whenever it would rain, the area around it would flood slightly and take ages to drain. We tried buying drain unblockers, but none seemed effective. Eventually, we turned to No 1 PHD and were left wondering why we didn’t do this sooner.
